South Texas Car Club
2006 VA Hospital Car Show

The South Texas Car Club puts on some of the best car shows we've been to. After being rained out in Kerrville in early May, they regrouped and had a great day at the Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio. The rain held off until after the presentation of dozens of awards making it a great day for hundreds of car enthusiasts and lots of veterans.

The Memories Mall booth

Once I figured out how to get into the gated parking lot, I set up the Memories Mall booth with a great view of all the cars.

The diversity of cars that always show up at STCC events is amazing. From the earliest motorized vehicles to the latest in automotive technology.

Any show with this many quality cars is worth going to. In one afternoon you can see the evolution of the automobile.

Now we're getting modern with fat fenders.

From the economical to the outrageously powerful, Corvair to Corvette, everybody has fun at an STCC show.

the stylish VW Karmen Ghia
an old school Mini
the Edsel
Shelby Mustang 350 GT
Over the years some cars have proven more popular than others. For example, the Edsel never really caught on, but the Shelby Mustang is the inspiration for today's model.
Street Rods Forever
There's still nothing like a classic street rod.

There is nothing I like better than working a good car show. The people are great, the atmosphere is friendly and there is always something to learn about these classics. The only problem is it's hard to work the booth with so many beautiful cars to look at.

Thanks to Hector and Delores and all the volunteers from the South Texas Car Club for a great show. I'm sure the many patients at the VA Hospital who came out for some fresh air and to see the cars appreciate your efforts.

If you're ready to start cruising in style, pay a visit to our friends at Street Rods Forever. They have the car of your dreams.

Then you can hitch up the style and convenience of a matching custom trailer for those trips to the car shows from The Little Trailer Company.
