The Defenders
of America Naval Museum is an all volunteer, non-profit organization
based in Kemah, Texas. The Museum's mission is to promote the history
and preserve, in operating condition, a collection of combatant small
naval craft of the US Navy. They currently are restoring PT-305,
a Landing Craft Personnel built by the Higgins Boat Co. and
a Viet Nam era PBR river patrol boat. Pay them a visit and
