Luckenbach, Texas
2006 Custom Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

Luckenbach, Texas

The Memories Mall survived 4 hours of rain at this year's car show in fabled Luckenbach, Texas. With the help of several car owners, we managed to keep the canopy from folding in and drenching us. By the time trophies were handed out the sun had come out and most of the mud dried up.

After packing up the signs and soggy thermometers, I had a quick stroll around the grounds to see the great cars and motorcycles that braved the weather.

As active members in the South Texas Car Club, Hector and Delores make a lot of great car shows fun for everyone. This time, Delores was stuck under my canopy most of the morning, while Hector used their umbrella to visit with all his friends. Check out the STCC web site for upcoming shows.

After all, how hard could it be?

It was a great day even with the rain. After all, a rainy day in Luckenbach is better than any day at the office.
