The Memories Mall goes to the Texas Antique Fair.

| For 8 days in the spring of 2003, in preparation for the official launch of The Memories Mall, we operated a booth at the big antique fair in east central Texas. Although we offer reproductions, the response was terrific. We'd like to thank everyone for stopping by. | |
| We were fortunate to get a 10ft by 20ft space from Betsy, owner of Granny McCormick's Yard. |
| This was located in the center of town, directly across from the Warrenton Grocery and Post Office. |
| From our vantage point we could keep track of all the major events including routine traffic stops. |
| But to really see the whole event required some serious hiking. Vendors & visitors alike used bikes, scooters & golf carts to get around since the fair spanned acres of fields stretching along miles of roads. |
| There was so much to see that shoppers used their cell phones and walkie talkies to keep track of the treasures and each other. |
| The Sterling McCall Antique Car Museum, located two doors down, provided music during part of the weekend. |

Like they say, "if you don't like the weather in Texas, wait a minute". The 1st day was beautiful, sunny and near 80. The next day the wind blew out of the north and the high was only in the 40's. The 2nd weekend was perfect however and as evening fell on Friday, a large flock of birds, flying in formation, headed north. Although it was a lot work, we enjoyed the experience a great deal. We met some great people and watched the shoppers returning to there cars with just about everything & anything you can imagine. |
